Our new proposal for 'Bamboo Affordable Housing' in Myanmar !!

“What will post-pandemic architecture look like?

While social distancing seems to be its most internationally recognized attribute, much more radical ideas can be explored. The entire supply chain until the project delivery should be revised.

As we source construction materials closer and closer to the project site, we consequently lower the carbon footprint of the building and make the project less dependent on foreign imports. Local communities are empowered by becoming a little more self-sufficient.

Other ideas such as pre-fabrication can also have an important impact. Bamboo is a type of grass that can be harvested every 3 years during the course of its 100-year long lifespan. It can help to quickly regenerate damaged forests while providing a sustainable source of income and construction materials.

This post-apocalyptic looking period gives us an opportunity to go back to the drawing board and re-imagine the future".
